What is the Trilegiant Affiliate Program?
The Trilegiant Affiliate Program will pay you every time you refer a new Trilegiant club member registration from your site. Joining the Trilegiant Affiliate Program is not only a way to make money, but it can also add value to your site. The program provides a high level of support, plus content, tutorials, and affiliate contests.
How do I get started with the affiliate program?
It's a simple three-step process: read the Operating Agreement, fill out the Affiliate Application, and when Trilegiant accepts your application, you will be notified via email about how to link to us and start earning money.
Can I participate if I live outside the U.S.?
The Trilegiant membership clubs are only available to residents of the United States, but any sites in English and based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada or Australia are eligible to participate in the Trilegiant Affiliate Program. Commissions are paid out in your choice of Canadian dollars, Euros, British Pounds, or U.S. dollars.
Does my Web site qualify for the Trilegiant Affiliate Program?
Anyone can apply for the program. However, Trilegiant reserves the right to refuse any site, especially if it contains unsuitable material. Web sites that would violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right; encourage illegal activity or racism; or feature hard liquor, tobacco products, gambling, or materials, products, or services related to pornography will be deemed unacceptable for the Trilegiant Affiliate Program.
I don't have a Web site yet. Can I still apply to be an affiliate with Trilegiant?
No, you must have an existing Web site in order to become a Trilegiant affiliate.
Commission Fees and Payment
How does Trilegiant track members coming from my Web site?
Trilegiant uses Commission Junction to track members whom you refer to Trilegiant.
How can I keep track of how many people visit and register with Trilegiant?
Simply log in to your CJ account at www.cj.com to access a variety of online reports, where you can track not only your click-throughs and commissions but also other activity to help increase sales.
How much will I earn for each registered member whom I refer to Trilegiant?
You will receive $8 per new Trilegiant club member registration that you refer from your site.
Setting Up My Affiliate Links
Where will I find Trilegiant banners, buttons, and text links?
Simply log in to your CJ account at www.cj.com to access the variety of linking options.
How can I download graphics and logos from Trilegiant to my Web site?
All the graphics and logos are hosted on the CJ servers, and the linking codes at www.cj.com include the code for the graphics. You may not host any Trilegiant graphics on your site.
May I link to Trilegiant from more than one Web site?
Yes. You are welcome to link to Trilegiant from multiple Web sites, as long as none of the sites violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right; encourages illegal activity or racism; or features hard liquor, tobacco products, gambling, or materials, products, or services related to pornography. Submit the URLs for all sites, which you plan to use to promote Trilegiant, via email to .
Maintaining My Trilegiant Affiliate Account
How can I promote Trilegiant?
Trilegiant will provide banners, buttons, and text links that you can use on your site. We have found that the text links are the most effective marketing tool for generating Trilegiant membership club registrations. In addition to your Web site, you may promote Trilegiant through an opt-in mailing list.
How will my visitors register for the Trilegiant membership clubs?
Your graphic and text links will take your visitors right to the various membership club sites (depending on the code you select from your account), so that registration is quick and easy.
Promoting My Web Site
Can I change or personalize the images provided by Trilegiant?
No. It is not permissible to change or personalize any Trilegiant images.
Can I use Trilegiant in my URL or in the name of my site?
No. The use of Trilegiant or any variation thereof in your URL or in the name of your site will be cause for your immediate dismissal from the affiliate program. In such a case when you breach the affiliate agreement, you thereby forfeit any earned commissions.
Can I use bid on the Trilegiant name in pay per click search engines?
No. The use of Trilegiant, the membership club names, or any variations thereof cannot be bid on via the pay per click search engines. Violation of this rule will be cause for your immediate dismissal from the affiliate program. In such a case when you breach the affiliate agreement, you thereby forfeit any earned commissions.
What kind of advertising can I do?
Be creative-write a newsletter for visitors to your site, write a testimonial about Trilegiant, write an article. Note that you may use any copy on www.Trilegiantaffiliates.com, but if you wish to write your own copy, you must send it to Trilegiant at for review.
What kind of advertising is prohibited?
You cannot send unsolicited email (aka spam) in any way. There will be no leniency in cases of unsolicited email, and affiliates in violation of this policy will forfeit their commissions and be removed from the program.
Can I issue a press release or other kind of announcement regarding my affiliation with Trilegiant?
No. Trilegiant will author and issue any announcements to the media.
